My Role

As lead designer, I spearheaded the 0 to 1 design of TravelBank’s first cross-platform corporate card management experience. An idea with no clear scope or product requirement, I worked closely with our Director of Product and Engineering teams to understand technical constraints and prioritizing key features for a successful MVP launch

Problem & Business Impact

In 2020, TravelBank wanted to move into the world of corporate card management with a new US Bank partnership. The ability to manage corporate cards would help TravelBank stand out against its competitors by bringing in new revenue channels, retain existing customers who needed a management solution, and solidify the partnership between US Bank.

The Solution

With the launch of TravelBank’s corporate card management, Finance Admins now have a centralized hub to oversee all company credit cards and audit transactions for compliance. Employees can also seamlessly manage both personal and corporate cards, using their assigned corporate card to book business travel and track expenses.

Outcome

Impact

This feature was succesfully launched in Fall 2020 and helped solidify TravelBank and US Bank’s partnership for 2020 and paved the way for TravelBank to enter in the corporate card space.
